How it works
WeeklyDeals has no voting and no submissions. Rankings come from the numbers, so a deal can't buy its way to the top of the page.
1. We collect
Retailer feeds, price-history trackers, APIs and RSS sources are polled on their own schedule. Each source carries a trust weight based on how reliable its prices have been.
2. We de-duplicate
The same product from several sources is merged into one listing, keeping the best confirmed price and the most reliable link.
3. A human reviews
Nothing publishes automatically. An editor confirms the price, checks the product is a durable good, and rejects anything misleading, consumable or out of stock.
4. We score and rank
Published deals are ranked on an objective score, then re-ranked continuously as they age so the feed stays fresh.
The score itself
Half of a deal's score is the size of the discount. Just under a third is the absolute amount you save, so a $200 drop counts for more than a $2 one. The remainder reflects how much we trust the source that found it. That total then decays over time, which is why a brand-new 30%-off deal can outrank an older 50%-off one. Staff Picks get a deliberate boost because an editor vouched for them.
Why some things are missing
We only cover non-consumable goods. Food, drinks, supplements and other perishables are out of scope by design.
